Compressed Air System Upgrade & Pressure Optimisation
Two ageing direct-on-line compressors were replaced with a single, modern inverter-driven compressor, significantly improving the site’s air supply reliability and reducing energy consumption.
During the upgrade, the team also identified and repaired compressed air leaks across the site — capturing further efficiency gains with minimal extra cost.
After six months of stable operation, the system was re-evaluated, and line pressure was reduced from 6.6 bar to 6.3 bar. This minor adjustment delivered additional savings without compromising performance.
